Llandudno based, Smith & Wypler Estate Agents Ltd, are one of Britain’s best estate agents and that’s official.

Smith & Wypler Estate Agents Ltd won a Silver Award in the 2005, Estate Agent of the Year Awards sponsored by The Property Search Group (PSG) and supported by the Daily Express and the National Association of Estate Agents.

The awards were presented by top TV personality Phil Spencer from Channel 4’s Location, Location, Location, at a glittering awards ceremony held recently at The Dorchester, Park Lane, London.

The Estate Agent of the Year Awards are unique and winning an award has real value, simply because they are voted for by the people who really are best qualified to say, the estate agents own customers.

Tweedie Brown CBE, managing director of PSG said: “The awards focus on the one factor which can make the difference between a satisfied customer and a dissatisfied one; customer service, and the standard of customer care the estate agent provides, before, during and after the moving process.”

In the research carried out to determine this year’s winners, 95 per cent of customers said they would buy or sell their home through the estate agent they used again.

 

Tweedie Brown adds: “The increase in the level of customer service proves that the awards are achieving its objective of helping to raise the standards of customer service in the industry.”

Phil Spencer said: “These awards are all about the estate agents ability to address problems during the purchase and selling period. Things can go wrong, customers know that, but your ability to act quickly and professionally is crucial to maintain customer loyalty.

“As today’s market becomes ever more competitive it is the service factor which is key. It’s simple, if you don’t provide the service your customers demand, they will not deal with you again.”

At the beginning of the year customers were asked to measure the estate agents individual company performance using thirteen key service criteria. Once completed the questionnaire forms were returned by the agent’s customers directly to the competition organisers where the results were collated and processed.
